ITK Holding Zrt. has agreed with the vocational training centres in the region.

At the end of 2019, ITK Holding Zrt. signed a cooperation agreement with the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre and the Berettyóújfalu Vocational Training Centre to train future technical professionals in real-life conditions. This further expanded the Group’s education-related activities.

At the end of 2019, ITK Holding Zrt. – with the support of the Municipality of Debrecen – signed a cooperation agreement with the Vocational Training Centre of Debrecen and the Vocational Training Centre of Berettyóújfalu to train future technical professionals in real-life conditions. Within the framework of the cooperation, the Vocational Training Centre will broaden the range of training in the Mechanical, Transport and Electromechanical-Electronic groups of professions, taking into account the labour market needs of the ITK Group, for which the company will provide the venue and welcome the students.

As you know, Inter Traction Electrics Ltd. has already taken several important steps in the field of education in Debrecen: it inaugurated its Training and Development Centre and Experimental Plant at the end of 2017, and then started practical training at the beginning of 2018. In the first round, students from the Brassai Samuel Technical Secondary School of Debrecen Vocational Training Centre, who are taking part in adult education, were able to occupy the classrooms in the new hall.

Subsequently, in March 2018, a tripartite strategic agreement was signed between ITK Holding Zrt., the Municipality of Debrecen and the University of Debrecen, under which ITE Ltd. can train vehicle engineers as a department of the University of Debrecen, and can also provide technical education and participate in the dual training of engineering students. Inter Traction Electrics Ltd. can now teach automotive engineers applying to the University’s Faculty of Engineering as a department.

Looking forward to continuing the successful cooperation with the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre, our company donated a bus to the DSZC last March. With the donated bus, students can not only get around, but also dismantle, repair, study and improve it. In this way, ITK Holding Zrt. has made a major contribution to the theoretical education of the students, as well as to the acquisition of practical skills.
