INTER TAN-KER Zrt. has also become a community service provider in Kecskemét.

On 22 November 2019, our company signed a contract with the City of Kecskemét and the Kecskemét Transport Centre. Less than a month was given to organise the Kecskemét operation, which started smoothly on 1 January 2020. To meet the tight deadline, it took a lot of hard work and the cooperation of all our colleagues

In Kecskemét, our company provides a full service, which means that we take care of bus drivers, ticketing systems, and general and occasional maintenance of buses. The aim of the high quality service we provide is to ensure sustainable urban bus transport in the city of Kecskemét in the long term.

In 2020, we’ve rejuvenated the famous city’s bus fleet. Sustainability has been a key consideration in the design of the new bus fleet, and is one of the guiding principles of the overall renewal. Diesel vehicles meeting the highest environmental standards will significantly reduce the environmental burden of public transport in Kecskemét. The new bus fleet consists of 20 Mercedes-Benz Reform 500 LE, 25 Mercedes-Benz Conectos and the 25 hybrid Mercedes-Benz buses already known in the city.
